| Welcome to the Circus
The Strange Family Circus evolved over the years from members of Culte du Feu fire performance troupe, local musicians, dancers, circus and sideshow artists. The troupe has performed throughout Arizona, Alaska, Ohio and New York appearing in such publications as the Arizona Republic, Desert Living Magazine, Get Out Magazine, Java Magazine, The Los Angeles Times and Brooklyn Bay News. With core members Dr. Reverend Stephen D.F Strange and The Mother Fakir Sahar Strange, the circus embraces a myriad of entertainment that combines the wonder and mystery of early 20th century sideshows and updates the use of variety arts for a cynical, multicultural world. What one audience member called "Penn and Teller meets Jackass meets Cabaret", the troupe performs in art galleries, festivals, sideshows, variety shows, corporate events and can officiate weddings. |
